Chauffeur Services: Pick-up and Drop-off
Registration
All clients must register before using our Daycare/Hiking/Walking/Boarding services at The Pet Shop Boys. Once you have filled out our online Registration Form and submitted your information, we will follow-up with your veterinarian to confirm that your dog is up to date with his/her vaccinations. Bordatella, Distemper (tieter test), and a flea program is required. Your pooch will need a valid city dog license as well.
Once all the information is confirmed, we will contact you to schedule a free assessment for your dog. The assessment starts off at our boutique where you will leave your dog with us for 1 hour of fun in our daycare. This gives us a great opportunity to really get to know your dog and make sure that he/she feels comfortable and safe with us. The assessment consists of your dog meeting all sizes and personalities of dogs, and going for a neighborhood walk with up to five other dogs. Once the assessment is complete, and if both parties feel comfortable, we will activate your online account and you are ready to book any of our doggy Daycare/Hiking/Walking/Boarding services.
Daycare
Hours: Monday – Friday: 7 am – 7 pm / Saturday 10 am – 6 pm / Sunday 11 am – 5 pm
Drop your furry little friend off at The Pet Shop Boys and leave the rest to us! Our daycare is divided into 3 large doggy playpens where we separate the dogs by size and personality. We have developed great activity programs to keep your dog stimulated and fit during their stay in our care, including 3 twenty-five minute neighborhood walks through the quiet streets of Cambie Village with five of his/her best buddies. The walks start at 8 am, 11 am, 2 pm and a 4 pm pee break. We ensure that each pack is compatible and walks well together. To keep your dog dry and cozy for those cold and rainy days we have waterproof, fleece-lined jackets for dogs of all sizes. If your dog catches a chill or manages to get wet, we take the time to warm him/her up with a cozy blanket and warm-air dryer. Last but not least, our Play Pen staff love to give lots of cuddle time to each and every doggie in daycare.
Whether you’re at work, away on business, or just needing some alone time, you can rest assure that your best friend is being taken care of in a safe, supervised, cozy, and fun environment. You can even make our grooming services a part of your Daycare routine.

Adventure Mountain Hikes
Hours: 2.5 hour hike – 11:30 am to 2:00 pm – Monday to Saturday
Adventure Mountain Hikes at the Pet Shop Boys are safe and exciting doggie adventures through the wilderness of West Vancouver.
This hike is great for high endurance dogs that need that extra rush of exercise to burn off excess energy so that they are nice and calm by the time you get home from work. This is a great opportunity for your pooch to explore his/her natural animal instincts while socializing with five other friendly dogs. This hike is completely off-leash and supervised throughout the steep mountain trails. Rain or shine, we go for it! The trails are sheltered under the canopies of old growth oak and hemlock trees as we make our way up Brothers Creek, Skyline and Baden Powell trails. We cross some amazing waterfalls and trek deep into the woods through unmarked bike trails. During a hot summer’s day we like to make our way up to Lost Lake for a refreshing dip into the crystal clear water. On a cold winter’s day we arrive at the top of the snow covered mountain and dive into the snow to make some doggie snow angels!
Our Hikes are ‘no walk in the park’ and that’s why each dog must graduate from one of our Pacific Spirit Walks with 100% reliable recall before joining this high intensity hike.
All of our adventure mountain hikers are fully trained, insured, and licensed with the city of West Vancouver. We offer one 2.5 hour hike daily from Monday to Saturday with free pick-up and drop-off from your home or office. We escort your dog in our dog-friendly and well-ventilated truck where all dogs are tethered securely inside for a safe ride to and from the mountain. At the end of each walk your dog will be towel dried and quickly cleaned off before entering your home.

Pacific Spirit Park Walk
Hours: 1 hour walk – 10 am to 11 am / 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm – Monday to Friday
On our Pacific Spirit Park nature walks, your dog will enjoy supervised on or off-leash fun with five other dogs through the beautiful trails of UBC. This walk is great for all dogs, especially puppies and seniors that love their outdoor playtime while socializing with all the city dogs. With all of the fantastic trails to choose from, we keep it fun and new with each walk. When added to a day of daycare, Pacific Spirit Park walks are a great way to completely tire out your dog by the time you get home from a busy day at work!
All of our dog walkers are fully trained, insured and licensed with the city of Metro Vancouver and are trained to handle any situation. We offer 2 one-hour walks per day at 11:00am and 1:30pm from Monday to Friday. 
Our PSPWs also include a free pick-up and drop-off from your home or office. We escort your dog in our dog-friendly and well ventilated truck where all dogs are tethered securely inside for a safe ride to and from the trails. At the end of each walk, your dog will be towel dried and quickly cleaned off before entering your home. And for those extra long work days, we are happy to bring your dog back to daycare to keep the party going.

Home Boarding
Drop off & Pick up between 7 am to 6 pm Monday – Friday / 10 am to 5 pm Saturday / 11 am to 4 pm Sunday
Home Boarding at The Pet Shop Boys is the best sleepover party a dog can have. After a fun-filled day of daycare, your dog will be chauffeured to one of our homes where she or he will enjoy relaxing on a pillow by the fireside with his/her best friends. We take great care to make sure that each of our staff members is the best match with your dog’s personality. All employees go through a thorough home inspection to make sure that all of our homes are doggie proof and safe for all dogs, big and small. Your furry little friend will have full range of our homes and will be treated like one of the family! Unless requested, we do not use crates or kennels.
We understand that just like people, some dogs need a little bit of extra TLC. We are gentle and attentive with all special requests and we are experienced with administering medicine and special feeding instructions at your request.
Home Boarding with The Pet Shop Boys offers you peace of mind knowing that your four-legged best friend will be well taken care of while you are away on business or holiday. Your dog will feel safe, secure, loved and anxiety-free in our loving homes filled with fluffy dog beds, blankies and toys. It’s a real live doggie sleep over party!
